Privacy Policy

Deals and Deals India records limited technical information needed to operate the site, protect redirects from abuse and understand aggregate deal performance. This can include a salted hash of an IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamps and signed channel attribution. We do not intentionally store raw IP addresses in click records.

Information you provide

When you contact us, we collect the name, email address, topic, message, and optional related URL you submit. We use this information to investigate and respond to your request, prevent abuse, and maintain an appropriate record of the conversation.

How information is used

We use limited data to operate and secure the service, display and verify deals, measure aggregate outbound activity, diagnose failures, prevent repeated spam submissions, respond to people who contact us, and meet legal obligations. We do not collect payment card details or retailer checkout credentials.

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website usage, such as pages visited, approximate traffic source, device/browser information and interactions. Google may process limited identifiers or use browser storage for this purpose under its own privacy terms. You can restrict this through browser privacy controls or content-blocking settings.

Sharing and external services

We use Meta Pixel to measure Facebook and Instagram advertising. It loads automatically on public pages without an on-site consent prompt and shares page-view events, deal-retailer link clicks, and limited interaction events for Telegram or WhatsApp channel invitations, such as an invitation being displayed, dismissed or clicked. These events describe the destination service, placement and relevant page context; they do not confirm that a person joined a channel or completed a purchase. Meta may receive page URLs, browser/device information, IP address and cookie identifiers, and associate activity with its services under its own privacy policy. We do not send purchase events, contact-form fields or customer matching details through this integration. Tracking is excluded from admin, contact and search-result pages.

We also use the X conversion pixel to measure advertising on X (formerly Twitter). Like Meta Pixel, it loads automatically on public pages without an on-site consent prompt and records a page view for the page on which a visit begins. X may receive the page URL, browser/device information, IP address and cookie identifiers, and process them under X’s privacy policy. We do not send purchase events, contact-form fields or customer matching details to X. The X pixel is also excluded from admin, contact and search-result pages.

You can use browser tracking protection, cookie controls or content-blocking tools to restrict tracking. Clearing cookies does not remove information already received by Meta or X. See Meta’s privacy policy for its handling of shared information and available privacy choices.

Retailers, Telegram, WhatsApp, X and affiliate networks apply their own privacy terms when you use their services. We do not collect payment card details or retailer checkout credentials.

Information may be processed by hosting, database, security, analytics, communications, and affiliate-service providers only to the extent needed to provide those functions. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described, dispute prevention, security, and applicable legal obligations. Contact messages are retained for up to 12 months after resolution unless a longer period is required for an ongoing request or legal obligation. We use access controls and administrative safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and requests

To request access, correction or deletion of information reasonably linked to you, email privacy@dealsanddeals.in.

You may also use our contact form and select “Privacy request.” We may need to verify that a requester is authorised before acting. Children should not submit personal information through the contact form without appropriate guardian involvement.

Changes

We may update this policy when our data practices or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page will identify the latest published version.
